Amanda Bynes says she doesn't drink, but the L.A. City Attorney's Office begs to differ. The "What I Like About You" star has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs stemming from her April 6 arrest after dinging a police cruiser with her BMW.
And that's not all she's accused of.

In the formal complaint against her, it is noted that Bynes also allegedly refused a peace officer's request to submit to and/or complete a chemical test to see how much -- if any -- substance was in her system.

Arraignment has been scheduled for Wednesday at 8:30 a.m., but because the charge is a misdemeanor, Bynes only has to send a lawyer in her place.
Since her April bust, the actress has perhaps coincidentally embarked on a series of driving snafus, including a painfully slow three-point turn witnessed by droves of West Hollywood revelers and the unwitting fender-bending of an SUV, which she says she never knew about until the other driver filed a report. Then TMZ reported that police were informed of but never pursued the allegation that she rear-ended another car on the freeway and drove off.

The scrutiny ultimately prompted Bynes to address her recent troubles via Twitter.
"I can't help but laugh at all of you writing fake stories about me. I was not in any hit and runs," Bynes wrote last month. "I don't drink so the DUI is false."
